Jauh dari Hegemoni Organisasi dan Parti
Yang dimaksud jauh dari hegemoni organisasi dan parti ialah selama antara parti dan organisasi terjadi permusuhan dan pertentangan yang tidak selaras dengan makna ukhuwwah dalam Islam. Da’wah Islam adalah da’wah umum yang menghimpun, bukan memecah belah. Da’wah Islam tidak bangkit dan bekerja dengan permusuhan dan pertentangan, namun dilakukan semata-mata ikhlas kerana Allah swt.
Makna da’wah seperti ini, dirasa berat bagi jiwa tamak yang ingin menjadikan parti dan kelompoknya sebagai batu loncatan untuk meraih jabatan dan mengaut harta. Kerana itu, kami memilih menjauhi hegemoni semua parti dan organisasi tersebut, dan bersabar dalam kondisi itu dari kemaslahatan yang mungkin dapat diambil, sampai faktor penghalang itu dapat terbuka. Sampai manusia mengetahui hakikat yang ditutup-tutupi tentang mereka kemudian mereka kembali pada langkah yang benar, setelah memperoleh berbagai pengalaman, keyakinan hati dan keimanan.
Ketika akar dan batang da’wah telah kukuh, sehingga mampu mengarahkan dan tidak diarahkan, mampu mempengaruhi dan tidak dipengaruhi, Ikhwan mengajak para pembesar, pejabat, berbagai organisasi dan parti untuk bergabung.
Ikhwan mengajak mereka agar mereka turut menempuh jalan dan bekerja bersama, meninggalkan semua penampilan yang tak ada ertinya dan bersatu di bawah bendera al-Qur’anul ‘Azim, bernaung di bawah syi’ar Nabi yang mulia dan sistem Islam yang lurus.
Bila mereka memenuhi seruan kami, maka kebaikan dan kebahagiaan kembali pada mereka di dunia dan akhirat. Dengan bantuan mereka, insya Allah, perjalanan da’wah akan dapat lebih cepat dan menyedikitkan jerih payah dalam mencapai tujuannya.
Tapi bila mereka menolak, tak ada salahnya bagi kami untuk menanti beberapa saat. Kami hanya berharap pada Allah swt. hingga mereka tidak mempunyai alternatif lain kecuali bekerja untuk da’wah.”Allah Maha Kuasa atas segala urusan-Nya, akan tetapi kebanyakan manusia tidak mengetahui.”

Mission Impossible
This is the story of the great army of 3000 men against 200,000.

This is my first visit to Jordan and I am honored to visit the resting place of Ja’far (RA), and Zaid Ibn-Haritha (RA), and the site of the battle of Mu’ta. I would like to express my happiness with this gathering and tell you that I am also honored to be among you.
I know very well that you are familiar with the battle of Mu’ta, but I would like to remember it with you. I would like to remember Ja’far (RA), Zaid Ibn-Haritha (RA), and Abdullah Ibn-Ruwaha (RA). I’m sure that you already know the information I am about to mention, but sometimes when people are living in a certain place and get used to it and they don’t realize how special that place is. So although you are near the martyrs who are now in Paradise, you may not be fully aware of that fact.
I feel that as soon as we remember these three companions, people will be more attached to them. They are, Ja’far, Zaid Ibn-Haritha and Abdullah Ibn-Ruwaha (RA).
Listening to this information, which you may be familiar with, will make you think of this place with more sacredness, solemnity and respect.
Do you know how many companions witnessed Mu’ta?
They were 3000 against 200,000 of Romans and Ghassanians. It was almost an impossible mission! The companions, therefore, met for two days prior to the battle to discuss and exchange opinions on how to face this enormous number… Should they face this hostile army or will that be unwise?
After two days of consultation there were three opinions:
Return to the Prophet (PBUH) to tell him they were not able to face the army of two hundred thousand men.
Send to the Prophet (PBUH) asking for back-up support.
Face the army and engage into battle.
All of the companions rejected the first option completely. They couldn’t imagine that they can go back to the Prophet (PBUH) who sent them for Jihad in the cause of Allah, and tell him that they could not take on Jihad.
The second option was not approved either as there could be no additional help because those 3000 companions were all that were available.
Confrontation was the only option left!
But how can 3000 men face 200,000? Although this was the only option left, the companions were not so sure about it.
This is where Abdullah Ibn-Ruwaha (RA) stepped in…
He said, “O People, the thing you are afraid of now is the very thing you came for… By Allah, we do not fight our enemies with our numbers or weapons, but we fight them with this religion which Allah has honoured us with!”
And they replied “In Allah we trust!”
What took place in Mu’ta represents the greatest military plan in history and is therefore being taught until this day in military schools in Europe and America… What took place can never happen again. There is nobody on Earth braver, more daring, stronger or more sincere than those three thousands men.
You are living on this land, I warn you against not having a share of the morals of the companions who attended Mu’ta!

Eh boleh ke selesaikan masalah umat dengan hanya mengusulkan konsep perundangan, politik, ekonomi Islami tanpa ada manusia yang betul-betul mahu patuh kepada Allah?
“Orang-orang zaman sekarang yang mendesak supaya Islam mengemukakan teori-teori mengenai sistem perundangan yang lengkap, supaya Islam membentuk dasar-dasar penyelesaian masalah-masalah yang mungkin timbul; sedangkan di bumi ini tiada lagi sebuah masyarakat yang telah memutuskan untuk patuh kepada perintah Allah dan menolak sebarang peraturan dan undang-undang selain dari syariat Allah, sedang mereka mempunyai kuasa untuk melaksanakannya; orang-orang seperti itu, yang mendesak dan mencabar Islam berbuat demikian, adalah sebenarnya orang-orang yang tidak faham hakikat Islam dan bagaimana Islam itu bergerak di dalam hidup seperti yang dikehendaki oleh Allah.
Orang-orang seperti itu adalah orang-orang yang hendak mengubah tabiat, program dan sejarah agama ini; orang-orang yang hendak mengubah bentuk sejarah Islam supaya Islam ini sama setaraf dengan teori-teori bikinan manusia, sebaya dengan program ciptaan manusia. Mereka juga adalah orang-orang yang cuba memesongkan Islam dari landasannya yang sejati dan dari jalannya yang asli semata-mata untuk menyahut dan memenuhi kehendak semasa dalam diri mereka, sebagai kehendak yang timbul dari kekecewaan jiwa mereka sendiri, kekecewaan mereka menghadapi konsep dan sistem-sistem bikinan manusia yang tidak mampu mereka hadapi. Mereka bermaksud supaya Islam ikut jadi kerdil seperti jiwa mereka supaya Islam jadi suatu teori yang penuh dengan andaian-andaian yang menggelikan, untuk menghadapi masa depan yang tidak wujud, sedangkan Allah menghendaki supaya agama ini mengikut kehendak-Nya. Allah menghendaki supaya Islam menjadi suatu akidah dan keyakinan hidup yang memenuhi ruang hati, yang menguasai budi dan nadi, akidah yang menentukan bahawa manusia tidak boleh tunduk selain kepada Allah sahaja dan tidak menerima peraturan hidup dan undang-undang yang lain dari peraturan dan undang-undang Allah. Sesudah adanya manusia yang inilah akidah mereka dan sesudah mereka mempunyai kuasa yang mutlak di dalam masyarakat mereka maka bermulalah wujudnya undang-undang untuk memenuhi hajat mereka dan mengatur kehidupan mereka yang praktikal (bukan teori sahaja).”

For those readers outside of the US who have no clue what the title of this post is talking about: Benjamin Franklin is the US statesman who is featured on the face of the $100 bill and George Washington is on the $1 bill.
Even though I am not an economist there is an issue on this topic that I would like to share with my brothers and sisters. Gold has been recognized as currency for thousands of years. FIAT money (Paper money) is a new invention and is only worth the political and economical strength of its issuers and the trust the world has in this political and economical strength. That is obviously the case with nations that issue paper money without gold backing such as the US.
Because the US economy is the powerhouse of the world and is the greatest economy on the face of the planet its currency enjoys the trust of the world. It has become the most recognized and it is the world’s foremost reserve currency. Today rather than commodities being valued in gold or silver they are valued in dollars. Oil for example is priced in dollars. In fact gold itself is priced in dollars.
The Messenger of Allah says: Allah has destined that whatever goes up must come down. Therefore if the US falls politically or economically the dollar falls with it.
Today America is the home of an interesting assortment of sins that are handpicked from all over the nations that existed before us: the obstinacy of the people of Nuh; the arrogance of the people of Aad; the rejection of Allah’s signs by the people of Thamud; the sodomy of the people of Lut; the financial deviance of the people of Shuayb as America is the biggest dealer and promoter of the interest based economy; the oppression of Abu Jahl et al; the greed, deception, love of the temporal life, and the bogusness of the children of Israel; along with the arrogance of the Pharaoh who had the misled notion that just because he is the leader of the most powerful nation on earth and is at the top the greatest army of his time he can somehow defeat the servants of Allah.
Brothers and Sisters this leads to the belief that the punishment of Allah is hovering over America. When? And how? Allah knows best.
So if you are one of those unfortunate folks who turned out to be living in the wrong place at the wrong time then it is advisable for you to leave. That is obviously if you take heed. Many don’t and are still living the utopia of the American dream. I am not talking about Mo and Mike who are still shaking to the tunes of MTV with their coke and big mac and are only Muslim by name, but I am talking about the practicing Muslims who sadly enough still think that the America of George W is the Abyssinia of the Negus.

If you have difficulty understanding the current world financial
situation, the following should help
Once upon a time in a village in India, a man announced to the villagers
that he would buy monkeys for $10. The villagers seeing there were
many monkeys around, went out to the forest and started catching
them.
The man bought thousands at $10, but, as the supply started to
diminish, the villagers stopped their efforts. The man further announced
that he would now buy at $20. This renewed the efforts of the villagers
and they started catching monkeys again.
Soon the supply diminished even further and people started going back
to their farms. The offer rate increased to $25 and the supply of
monkeys became so little that it was an effort to even see a monkey, let
alone catch it!
The man now announced that he would buy monkeys at $50! However,
since he had to go to the city on some business, his assistant would
now act as buyer, on his behalf.
In the absence of the man, the assistant told the villagers: ‘Look at all
these monkeys in the big cage that the man has collected. I will sell them
to you at $35 and when he returns from the city, you can sell them back
to him for $50.’
The villagers squeezed together their savings and bought all the
monkeys. Then they never saw the man or his assistant again, only
monkeys everywhere!

Perutusan Eidilfitri AMIR
Bismillahirahmanirrahim. Alhamdulillah (segala puji bagi Allah) rabbul ‘alamin (Tuhan yang mencipta dan memelihara seluruh alam). Selawat kepada junjungan rasul, Muhammad, yang mulia dan kepada keluarga serta sahabat baginda, generasi pertama para pejuang agama ini, yang mewariskan petunjuknya kepada kita umat manusia dan seluruh alam.
Sesungguhnya tarbiyah yang terbaik hanyalah yang datang dari Tuhanmu. Selamat graduasi saya ucapkan kepada seluruh umat islam di Jepun khususnya dan umumnya di seluruh pelusuk dunia. Yang telah menyempurnakan ibadah puasa dan menjalani aktiviti men’recharge’ diri. Mungkin ramai orang yang diberi kesempatan untuk mendaftarkan diri dan hadir ke kem tarbiyah ini. Tetapi, tidak semua orang diberikan peluang olehNya melalui untuk kem ini dengan memperoleh kebaikan di dalamnya. Sesungguhnya anda telah berjaya (Almukminun, : 1) Apapun kebaikan yang kita perolehi dari bulan yang penuh berkah ini, adalah dengan izinNya dan janganlah sekali-kali kita merasa bangga dengan tindakan, amalan, dan ibadah kita yang sedikit itu. Sesungguhnya ini hanyalah merupakan satu dari persinggahan (seperti kem musim panas) dalam pendidikan kita yang panjang. Banyak lagi yang perlu kita harungi dalam membebani tugas yang mulia ini.
Sesungguhnya ibadah (solat, puasa, menghayati al-Quran, bersedekah dan sebagainya) itu adalah merupakan bekal. Bekal buat ujian yang saban hari menjenguk kita. Bekal buat perjuangan yang berpanjangan. Tiadalah ibadah itu melainkan untuk mengisi api perjuangan yang makin kehabisan minyaknya. Untuk menjahit layar-layar kapal yang koyak di tengah-tengah pelayarannya. Semoga api dakwah dapat terus kita nyalakan. Semoga pelayaran dapat kita teruskan di lautan dunia yang bergelora ini.
Amal ibadah perlulah diselarikan dengan perjuangan. Kita tidak mengisi minyak melainkan untuk menyalakan api, tidak pula menjahit layar melainkan untuk meneruskan perjalanan. Kita bukannya semata-mata ‘abid, tetapi juga singa-singa Allah yang sentiasa menjaga agamaNya.
“Janganlah pula amal ibadah yang agong ini kau rosakkan!!” jangan kau rosakkan dengan maksiat di bulan Syawal. Ramadhan adalah stesen untuk mengambil bekal, buat perjalanan setahun. Sampai kau tiba pula ke stesen Ramadhan yang seterusnya, ketika itu kau sangat merasa dahaga dan tibalah masanya untuk mengambil bekal semula.
Selamat meraikan hari graduasi kita dari kem tarbiyah ramadhan kali ini. Akhir kata saya akhiri dengan sebuah hadith diriwayatkan oleh Sufyan bin Abdullah (radhiAllahu ‘anhu)
Aku berkata kepada Rasulullah “Katakan kepadaku sesuatu tentang Islam, yang aku tak akan bertanya tentangnya lagi selepas itu.” Rasulullah menjawab “Katakan aku beriman kepada Allah, kemudian istiqamahlah”

Dakwah ini tidak dimiliki oleh mana-mana kumpulan atau individu walau betapa hebat dakwaan mereka terhadap kebenaran jalannya. Tetapi ia akan terus dihidupkan oleh jiwa-jiwa yang mencintai Allah, sunnah RasulNya dan jalan-jalan yang telah dijejaki oleh salafus soleh. Kecintaan yang mendalam ini akan terus membuatkan dakwah itu menjalar ke dalam tubuh umat.
*Dakwah yang dimaksudkan ialah agenda reformasi ummah, menyambung risalah para Nabi membawa obor al Haq menerangi alam.
